Meet Army Specialist Kyle Burleson, Bravo Company 2-5, 1st Cavalry Division, Ft Hood Texas, and his family. This is the last photo you see in the banner at the top of our web pages.

Kyle was a gunner on top of a Humvee and shot August 2004 while on maneuvers in Iraq. The bullet went into his cheek and between his C2 and C3 vertebrae leaving him paralyzed. Standing beside him is his wife Christy and two small children, and mother Tammy Burleson.

They made their way thru Landstuhl Medical Center Germany, Walter Reed Army Medical Center, the Dallas VA, and now home to Springhill, Louisiana.
